This strategic plan aims to accelerate student success, refocus research and scholarship to transform lives, and build an engaged, diverse, and welcoming community. It also seeks to optimize internal processes for innovation and efficiency, and strengthen engagement with alumni and community partners. The plan outlines goals to attract and retain diverse students, conduct impactful research for societal betterment, foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion, promote collaboration, and effectively communicate the college's achievements and outreach.

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville's Student Sexual Misconduct Prevention Plan outlines a year-long cycle of comprehensive education for Summer 2020 through Spring 2021. Based on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's social-ecological model, the plan addresses five key areas: policy, prevention, supportive measures, investigation and resolution, and patterns and trends. Its commitment is to establish and maintain a safe and nondiscriminatory environment free from sexual harassment, dating and domestic violence, stalking, sexual exploitation, and retaliation.

The TCE Diversity Action Plan, developed starting in the fall of 2019 by a 30-plus member committee, outlines over 120 specific actions aimed at diversity. Approved in early spring 2021, the plan is now entering its implementation phase, supported by an implementation committee responsible for executing actions and an advisory committee providing feedback to the dean on progress and recommending revisions.

This document introduces Goal 3 of a Diversity Action Plan, which aims to attract, retain, and graduate increasing numbers of undergraduate and graduate students from historically underrepresented populations and international students, specifically within engineering disciplines. The goal outlines four objectives, including actions and metrics developed by faculty, staff, and students, and is designed to improve diversity in enrollment, academic success, and professional development leading to graduation.

This document introduces Goal 4 of the Diversity Action Plan, focused on developing and strengthening partnerships with diverse cultural, racial, and ethnic communities in Tennessee and globally. Key objectives include building strong networks with local industry partners who value diversity, equity, and inclusion; adopting effective outreach and partnership practices from nationwide underrepresented organizations; expanding STEM education outreach to diverse P-12 and college populations; and improving broader impact sections of research proposals to ensure the involvement of diverse groups, ultimately leading to more powerful and impactful research results through diversity of thought.
