The committee convened to enter a closed session for the purpose of deliberating and negotiating the potential purchase of public property, in accordance with state statutes regarding the purchase of public properties and the investment of public funds.

The committee discussed and recommended the approval of several licenses, including the renewal of various 2026-2027 alcohol beverage licenses, the granting of a new 2026-2027 Class B intoxicating liquor/fermented malt beverage license for The Badger Burger Co., the renewal of the 2026-2027 taxicab license for Oconomowoc Silver Streak, and the approval of 2026-2027 taxicab driver licenses for the same company.

The Finance Committee convened to review and approve the monthly voucher report presented by the Finance Director.

The board discussed several infrastructure and maintenance items, including possible easements for the extension of a walking path for Village Crossings. The committee reviewed the Wis-Pak parking lot expansion storm water management and approved an easement for the Valley Road sidewalk. Additionally, the members discussed the potential replacement or removal of a degraded fence bordering the Summit Cemetery and received updates from staff regarding the inspection and potential transfer of various Lake Country Village and Interlaken Village storm water basins, specifically evaluating maintenance status and erosion control measures for basins 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, and 10. Officers were elected for the board during the session.

The meeting included several public hearings regarding the Comprehensive Plan 2050 and rezoning requests for properties at 520 W. Second Street, 126 S. Park Street, 519 W. Second Street, and the southeast corner of Valley Road and Pabst Farms Circle, alongside a proposed ordinance for fire facilities impact fees. Additional business covered alcohol beverage license renewals, new liquor license applications, approval of municipal court judge appointments, and various utility and infrastructure agreements, including developer agreements and utility easements.
