This strategic plan outlines a vision for a healthier future with access to quality care for every Texan, driven by the mission to educate collaborative healthcare professionals, provide excellent patient care, and advance knowledge through innovative research. The plan focuses on six strategic guidelines: leveraging culture, expanding access to quality care while strengthening communities, delivering high-value education, driving research and innovation, optimizing capacity and processes for institutional excellence, and strengthening strategic positioning and influence. The overarching goal is to eliminate health disparities, especially in rural and underserved populations.
