The board convened for an executive session to address matters permitted under Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1(b). The meeting was conducted to discuss topics related to statutory authorizations, legal strategy, property transactions, personnel evaluations, and school safety assessments in a closed session environment.

The meeting and work session covered a range of topics, including a presentation by the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America from Charlestown High School and a report on elementary and high school accountability grades. The Board reviewed a fund monitoring report, approved claims reports, and authorized various staff travel, field trips, and fundraising activities. Additional discussions involved a regional economy update, budget and finance matters, school climate and culture, and enrollment data. The Board also reviewed and approved gifts to buildings.

The board meeting included recognitions of the Utica Elementary basketball team and the Jonathan Jennings Elementary cheerleaders for their championship achievements. The board approved a consent agenda covering financial claims, field trips, travel, fundraisers, and personnel matters. Business items addressed included the extension of bus route contracts, the transfer of funds from the Education Fund to the Operation Fund, declaring a sound board as surplus, and donating lockers to the Louisville Metro Police Department. Additionally, the board authorized a request for proposals for online auctioneer services, approved construction change orders, entered a staffing agreement for summer school, finalized a lease purchase for Chromebooks, and approved a subscription agreement for professional evaluation services.

The annual meeting focused on the election of the Board of Finance President and Secretary. Additionally, the Chief Financial Officer presented and reviewed the institution's Investment Report.

The board approved financial vouchers, a financial report, and the renewal of a farmland contract. Policy updates and the 2025-2026 Greensburg High School Curriculum Guide were adopted. The board also renewed membership with the Indiana School Boards Association, authorized the disposal of a school bus, approved building use for an After Prom event, updated the junior high handbook regarding academic dishonesty, and approved crowdfunding for a sensory garden. Additionally, the meeting addressed personnel changes including resignations and retirements, as well as new appointments. Several donations from local organizations were accepted for various school departments and funds.
