City Council Regular Meeting
The meeting began with the Mayor reading Proclamations for Public Service Employees Week and National Police Officer's Week. The Council discussed the issue of a homeless shelter, acknowledging it as a regional community issue, while several citizens commented in support of establishing an Anna Brown Outreach Shelter for women and children. One citizen also submitted a formal complaint regarding the low dollar amount offered for property acquisition in the Hadley Township Redevelopment Area.
