Dayton City Commission Regular Meeting
The Commission held a special recognition for Commissioner Joseph for his 22 years of service. Discussion items included a $5.6 million investment for 2026 residential asphalt resurfacing and community-led restoration efforts for Bomberger Park following an arson incident. The Commission approved various purchase orders, service agreements, and contracts, including redevelopment support for the Centre City building. A public hearing was conducted regarding a zoning map amendment for the West Hillcrest/Greenwich Village area. Additionally, the Commission addressed legislation concerning building appeals, heard citizen comments on public safety and local policy, and conducted a work session reviewing the 2025 City of Dayton Resident Survey results.
