The board also approved the TK ELA curriculum adoption and reviewed several board policies and administrative regulations. They concluded by setting the date for the March board meeting and adjourning.
Compass Charter School submitted a request for renewal to Mountain Empire Unified School District. The request, if approved, would renew the charter term for a period of five years. The Mountain Empire Unified School District held a Public Hearing on November 12, 2024, to consider the petition's support level. The District staff has determined that Compass Charter School meets the minimum criteria to be eligible for Renewal Petition for a five-year term beginning on July 1, 2025, and ending on June 30, 2030.
