The North Star Master Plan aims to transform Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens into a premier botanical garden destination. Guided by three pillars—inspiring a connection to nature, creating life-enhancing experiences, and cultivating belonging—the plan proposes over 15 transformational capital projects. These include re-imagining the visitor experience by moving the main entrance, creating new Grand Gardens, restoring the historic John F. Wolfe Palm House, and adding new facilities such as a visitor center, underground parking with rooftop gardens, and new biomes. The plan's objectives are to exemplify sustainable horticulture, double annual attendance, foster environmental stewardship, and provide a unique civic asset for the community and global visitors.
