Jefferson County Commission Pre-Commission Work Session
The work session covered a broad range of departmental items and contract approvals. Key topics included environmental services such as on-call sewer services and lateral inspections; personnel matters including a hotel contract renewal; and community development through various federal grant approvals for CDBG, HOME, and ESG programs. Additionally, the commission reviewed court record scanning amendments, youth detention health services, road and transportation infrastructure improvements, and legal litigation support. Several board appointments and staff development travel requests were also presented for consideration.
