Texas Facilities Commission Public Meeting
The commission approved numerous leases and lease amendments for several state agencies. It awarded multiple contracts, including Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreements for commissioning and environmental engineering services, and job order contracts for general building construction. The agenda included approvals for amendments to existing Design-Build and Construction Manager-at-Risk contracts for state office building projects, as well as new professional services contracts. The board reviewed internal audit plans, the annual report to the SAO, and status updates on major state infrastructure projects, including border infrastructure and the Capitol Complex. Finally, the commission appointed an Interim Executive Director, effective upon the retirement of the current Executive Director.
