The Transportation Safety Action Plan for Scott County aims to eliminate all traffic fatalities and serious injuries on its roadways by 2045, aligning with Vision Zero principles. The plan adopts a Safe System Approach, recognizing human fallibility and shared responsibility in creating a robust and adaptive transportation network. Key initiatives include a comprehensive safety analysis using historical crash data, extensive public and stakeholder engagement, identification of High Injury Networks, and implementation of county-wide safety countermeasures and policy changes to prioritize human safety and enhance public safety for all road users.

The meeting included approvals of notaries public and financial reports. The Parks & Recreation, Emergency Services, Building & Grounds, and Community Development committees had meetings where no specific actions were taken. The Intergovernmental Committee forwarded approvals for GPS monitoring contracts, amendments to a contract with FastAccess Correctional Healthcare, and a road name. Resolutions were approved for GPS monitoring agreements, a road name, and permission for the UT Extension Office to apply for a grant. Budget amendments were also approved, along with a new contract for the Register of Deed's office and pest control services. Bids were awarded for Roadway Stabilization.
