The committee reviewed proposed revisions to policy 4:100 regarding Insurance Management, specifically exploring the addition of secondary coverage for student accidents to be effective by July 1, 2026. Additionally, the committee performed a comprehensive review of various district policies under PRESS Issue 121, including updates to procedures for board meetings, public record access, student grievance procedures, child abuse prevention, leaves of absence, migrant student protections, and student conduct, among others. These policies are slated for a second reading and approval at an upcoming regular meeting.
