BoardIllinois Nature Preserves Commission Meeting Minutes
The meeting addressed a wide range of administrative and conservation matters. The Commission approved nominations and elections for advisors, consultants, and officers. Several land registration and dedication proposals were approved, including additions to existing reserves and new nature preserves. Numerous corrections to legal descriptions for various nature preserves were processed. The Commission received an update on the development of an animal translocation policy and held an informational presentation regarding the proposed modification of the Busse Dam. Finally, the Commission approved the Fiscal Year 2014 land acquisition and stewardship proposals and conducted a review of closed meeting minutes.
