Rockwood Board of Education Regular Meeting and Work Session
The board meeting and work session covered several administrative and operational items. The board entered a closed session to discuss legal actions and personnel matters before reconvening in an open session. Key business included the approval of fiscal items such as the bill list, budget adjustments for the 2026-2027 year, and numerous contracts and purchases for community education, facilities, school supervision, student services, and teaching and learning departments. Additionally, the board approved several change orders for construction and maintenance projects, declared various equipment and furniture as obsolete for surplus, and adopted a procurement policy for Child Nutrition Services. Updates to policy 0412 regarding public participation were reviewed.
