School Board of Henry County Annual Organizational and Monthly Meeting
The board conducted its annual organizational and monthly meeting, which included the election of the Chairman and Vice Chairman, the appointment of the School Board Clerk and Superintendent Designee, and the adoption of the 2014 meeting schedule. Key business included the passage of a Bullying Prevention Month resolution, policy revisions, the adoption of a Code of Conduct for members, and appointments to the Piedmont Governor's School Governing Board. The board approved a waiver application for a pre-Labor Day school opening for an innovative STEM program, retained an independent audit firm, and awarded a contract for A/E services for the Warrior Tech project.
