Town Council Special Meeting
The Town Council conducted a special meeting featuring two public hearings. The first hearing concerned a restaurant beer and wine license application for Deia Villa. The second hearing focused on Ordinance 2026-2, which proposes a comprehensive business regulation code. Discussions centered on the regulation of transient vendors and food trucks, with business owners and council members debating the impact of these regulations on local business competition and investment. The council reached a consensus to address these topics in a future work session rather than voting on the ordinance immediately.
