Rules, Enactments, And Intergovernmental Relations Committee Committee Meeting
The committee discussed the implementation of new DMV software and the ongoing challenges regarding wait times and system navigation. Approval was granted for the creation of new fiscal manager and contract coordinator positions to assist with complex grant administration for the Planning Department. Additionally, the committee reviewed a proposal to amend and restate a local law concerning the animal abuse registry to address loopholes regarding the possession and acquisition of animals by convicted offenders.
