The Jackson Parish School Board convened to discuss and act on several key items. The Jackson Parish School Board convened to discuss several key items. The Pupil Progression Plan for the 2025-2026 school year, along with the 2025-2026 General Fund and Special Revenue Budgets, were approved. Payment approvals included funds for the Outdoor Wilderness Learning Center, CEV Multimedia, LLC, a contract Speech Therapist and Facilitator, 3B Outdoor Equipment, and CDW-G. The board accepted quotes for HVAC installation, basketball scoreboards, and a baseball scoreboard for Jonesboro Hodge High School. Out-of-state travel was approved for Quitman High School FFA. Revisions to several policies were approved, including those related to electronic telecommunication devices, instructional materials, student computer access, student absences, bullying and hazing, child abuse, and expulsion.

Payment to Louisiana Delta Community College for Jump Start Summers tuition was approved, and the Job Description for Central Office Payroll/Grants Data Coordinator was approved. Payment was approved for water line extensions to Weston High School baseball and softball fields. Out-of-state travel for Weston High School Baseball was approved. Revisions to policies regarding cameras in special education classrooms and behavioral health support for students were approved.
