The Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing to review two separate variance applications. The first application for 106 Kimball Avenue involved a request for a two-story rear addition; the applicant presented a revised plan that reduced the addition's footprint, improved rear yard setbacks, and eliminated previously requested variances related to building coverage and floor area ratio. The second application for 3 Franklin Avenue involved the construction of a new single-family house; the applicant presented revisions that included the elimination of all habitable attic space and a reduction in the overall habitable floor area ratio. Both applications were approved by the Board based on the revised plans provided by the applicants.

The Council held a meeting that included several proclamations honoring the achievements of a local history bowl team and its members. The meeting featured updates on a workplace safety award received by the township, reflecting adherence to proper safety procedures and protocols. Additionally, members of the 4th of July committee presented details regarding upcoming Independence Day celebrations, including a car show and other community activities, as well as fundraising initiatives such as the sale of 250th-anniversary challenge coins.

The Planning Board considered an application for a preliminary and final site plan for a 960 square-foot outdoor storage shed at 111 Dorsa Avenue. The proposal included requests for setback variances for the accessory structure. The Board also reviewed plans for handicap parking, concrete sidewalk installation along the frontage, and flood hazard mitigation measures. The application was approved, with conditions including the delineation of the flood area on the site plans and the addition of a crosswalk for handicap access.

The Council meeting included a presentation on the research and contributions of Indian Americans to global business and society, highlighting Indian cultural values such as service, humility, and persistence. Additionally, the Council celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Essex County, acknowledging their work in advocating for foster children and expressing appreciation for the volunteers involved.

The council meeting included proclamations and presentations recognizing Summit Health for a generous donation to the July 4th committee and honoring the Livingston First Aid Squad and the Rotary Club for their 75th anniversaries of community service. Additionally, student representatives from the Livingston Youth Leaders presented details on their mission and upcoming philanthropic initiatives, including a free health screening camp providing mammograms, blood work, eye vision tests, and mental wellness checks.
