The meeting included an introduction by the President, Ricky Shabbaz, followed by the college's land acknowledgement recognizing the Kumi nation. Discussions also covered the launch of a mentor program designed to connect students with campus professionals for career exploration and skill building, including details on commitment expectations and application deadlines. Furthermore, the council celebrated achieving 100% of the enrollment target, attributed to collaborative efforts across various departments, especially concerning the SIM project and allocation of sections. Updates were provided regarding lactation pods and water filling stations, specifically mentioning the status of lactation pod number three near the LRC. There was also a detailed discussion on the implications of enrollment fluctuations relative to FTES allocation and state funding volatility.

The President also emphasized providing grace for students observing upcoming holidays such as Lunar New Year and Ramadan. The Classified Senate President discussed their advocacy for a 36-hour work week pilot program for classified employees, aiming for a 32-hour week eventually, and plans for professional development accommodations. The Supervisory and Professional Administrators Association (SPA) representative emphasized the role of supervisors in maintaining campus environments, supporting basic needs, and contributing to the mission of making college free.
