The Board discussed water and sewer rate increases, the approval of an excavation permit fee schedule, and the hiring of Hydro Designs to perform a residential cross-connection control program. Additional actions included approving bids for various infrastructure projects such as pipe lining and sanitary sewer/watermain relay. The Board also reviewed preliminary resolutions for special assessments related to parking lot reconstruction at Mission Square, road construction on Erickson Way, and storm sewer laterals on Suburban Drive. Finally, updates were provided regarding traffic and parking committee meetings.

The Board of Public Works discussed several items including the implementation of a new pricing schedule for garbage carts and a revision to the rubbish drop-off policy at the MSC, which will now be limited to specific hours. The Board elected a Vice Chairperson and approved several project bids, including brick paver maintenance, street construction, and sidewalk/concrete repairs. Additionally, they approved West Business Park grading, the purchase of a trench box for water lateral repairs, and discussed a proposed sidewalk repair policy regarding terrace trees.
