Board of Visitors Meeting
The meeting included discussions and updates on various topics, including a strategic plan update, a COACHE survey presentation, and reports from several committees such as the Academic Excellence and Student Success Committee, the Business Affairs and Audit Committee, the Enrollment Management and Brand Equity Committee, the External Engagement Committee, and the Student Affairs and Athletics Committee. Action items included resolutions to discontinue the B.S. in Biomedical Sciences, create a B.S. in Geospatial and Earth Sciences program, discontinue the B.A/B.S in Geology, and discontinue the B.A./B.S. in Geospatial Sciences. There was also a report on the Radford University Foundation, an Executive Committee report with an action item on Executive Order 48 Resolution, and a report from the Student Representative to the Board.
