The agenda includes discussion and possible action on various topics such as approval of the agenda, reports from the Superintendent and Governing Board, and a call to the public. The consent agenda covers approval of meeting minutes, ratification of payroll and expense vouchers, month-end expenditure budget and cash balance reports, and out-of-state/overnight travel requests for various school activities. Old business includes the first reading to amend Governing Board Policies. New business consists of administrative reports, approval of the Ganado Middle School Student Council Constitution, replacement of the Edgenuity Curriculum Platform, a resolution authorizing a drug testing policy for Security Department Personnel, review of financial audit reports, presentation on time-clock procedures, approval of a hearing officer, a prior year invoice, evaluation tools for coaches, and the Classroom Site Fund Plan. Personnel matters include revisions to job descriptions, staff resignations, and the hire/offer of contracts for classified staff, as well as approval of extra-duty/supplemental contracts.

The Ganado Unified School District No. 20 will hold a public hearing and board meeting to review the Proposed Expenditure Budget for FY'2025-2026. The public can submit questions or comments via email or during the public comment section of the hearing.

The Governing Board convened a meeting to review the FY'2025-2026 Proposed Expenditure Budget and discuss various agenda items. These included the approval of supplemental educational programs such as Renaissance Learning, Top Score Writing, Lexia Voyager Sopris, IXL Learning, NoRedInk Corp, and Achieve3000. The board also considered a proposed related services agreement with Northland Rural Therapy Associates and an education healthcare staffing agreement with AMN Healthcare, Inc. Additionally, the board discussed and took possible action on the Ganado High School Course Catalog for SY'2025-2026, cooperative purchasing agreements, and lists of fundraising activities for student clubs, athletic events, and Human Resources departmental events. The renewal of contracts for financial audit services, trash removal services, and propane services were also addressed.

The Ganado Unified School District Governing Board will hold a public meeting to discuss and potentially approve several items. These include the approval of routine warrants, purchase orders, travel claims, employee leave and transfer requests, and employee designations. Out-of-state travel requests will be considered for the Indian Education Committee members, the Federal Programs Director, the Parent Coordinator, and the Superintendent to attend a Johnson O'Malley Regional Meeting. Overnight travel for GHS CTE HOSA students, an advisor, and a bus driver to visit Mesa Community College will also be discussed. Policy changes regarding professional/support staff sick leave and retirement will be reviewed, along with an agreement with EduSource, LLC for participation in a reading program.
