The Board approved the Distinguished Nevadan Awards for Mary Gojack Gorrell, in recognition of her career as a legislator and community activist, and for Dr. Charles Vanda, for his service and contributions to the cultural excellence of the university.

The board reviewed and approved financial claims for the month of March, specifically addressing expenditures related to the Agricultural & Mechanical College Fund and the Contingent Fund and Interest Account.

The Board of Regents meeting involved several administrative and personnel actions. Key topics included the approval of the appointment of a new Vice-President of the University, the approval of the University Register, and the acceptance of a resignation in the Department of English.
