Burbank City Council Regular Meeting
The council discussed and approved the payment of current bills. The Clerk's report included bid results for the Fire Station #1 garage door replacement. Ordinances were passed regarding the amendment of Chapter 8 related to tobacco dealers and fee schedules, as well as an amendment to Chapter 4 concerning buildings and structures. A resolution was passed honoring a long-time resident. Departmental reports were provided by the Police and Fire departments, as well as Building, Zoning, and Public Works. The council awarded a contract for garage door replacement, authorized an emergency purchase of a generator for the Police Department, and approved the promotion of several personnel within the Police and Fire departments. An Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement regarding paving improvements was also approved.
