College Council
The meeting included a chair's report with updates on the presidential search, mentioning the committee members and the progress in narrowing down the pool of over a hundred applicants. The council also discussed the budget situation, the middle states accreditation review, and updates on enrollment numbers, which are excellent this fall. The college found ways to realize savings without layoffs, and the procurement is now being managed by the jointly administered regional financial services office. The leadership team now includes a vice president and chief diversity officer. The campus will welcome a new vice president for college advancement. The 2122 fundraising total exceeded 3 million dollars. Cassie's harp will be rededicated in its new location, and the richard j deljuda student forum in the union will be dedicated.
