Town of Grantham Town Meeting Minutes
The 250th Annual Town Meeting included the approval of several zoning map and ordinance amendments, a modification to the service-connected total disability veteran's tax credit, and the approval of the annual budget across various municipal departments including general government, public safety, public works, health and welfare, and culture, recreation, and conservation. The meeting also addressed debt management, the defeat of a proposal to discontinue the Land Preservation Fund, the allocation of funds to capital reserve and expendable trust funds, and the passage of a petition calling on the state legislature to stop shifting costs to local property taxes. Finally, the meeting established a joint study committee for road issues and nominated town officers.
