City Council Meeting
The meeting began with the recitation of the mission statement and approval of the agenda. Key discussions involved the consent agenda, which included the approval of minutes from previous City Council and Executive Sessions dating back to 2016, as well as minutes from Board and Commission meetings in October 2019. Several resolutions were adopted, including one establishing precinct and polling locations for the 2020 election, and others accepting feasibility reports for street sealcoat and rehabilitation projects. Plans and specifications were approved for the Madison Street curb and gutter and the 37th Avenue multi-use trail projects. Changes related to parking designations based on Traffic Commission recommendations were also addressed. Furthermore, the council adopted the Anoka County 2019 Multi-Jurisdictional All Hazard Mitigation Plan to maintain eligibility for certain state and federal funding opportunities.
