The Council authorized the purchase of a new cardiac monitor/defibrillator for the Fire Department and a new Type 3 ambulance with related equipment. They also approved the submission of an application for funding through the Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Response Round 1 Program. Additionally, the Council received reports regarding ongoing capital projects, including road improvements and infrastructure work, and heard updates from city staff on department operations.

The City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2022-23 salary schedule and approved an ordinance regarding a zone change on N. Alta Avenue. Key actions included approving a team sponsorship for the United Health Centers foundation golf tournament, reviewing and authorizing the warrant register, and conducting a public hearing for the Castle Rock subdivision map and zone change. Additional actions included the appointment of the 2020 Census Advisory Committee and the adoption of new landscape design guidelines. The council received a mid-year update from the Tulare County Economic Development Corporation regarding local economic opportunities.
