Borough of Englishtown Regular Meeting
The council conducted an executive session to discuss attorney-client privilege and litigation. The meeting included the approval of several resolutions, such as tax sale certificate redemptions, a request for proposals for a feasibility study of the water and sewer utility systems, and an RFP for the designation of a redeveloper for the Mers Building area. The council also authorized a six-month extension for a New Jersey Department of Transportation local aid project, reorganized the Land Use Board, approved a shared service agreement with Monmouth County for emergency dispatch services, and appointed a new chairperson for the Environmental Commission. Furthermore, the council adopted new police department rules and regulations, the 2026 personnel policy, recognized an autism-friendly family event, and formally adopted the second amended housing element and fair share plan.
