The committee also addressed a Development Variance Permit, a Commercial Development Permit for tourist cabin replacements, and a mixed-use development permit for regional fire services. Further discussions involved a zoning bylaw amendment for residential subdivision, support for an Agricultural Land Reserve application concerning aggregate extraction, and the selection of water treatment technology for the Graham Lake project along with plans for community engagement regarding fire flow upgrades.

The committee reviewed the resolutions status report and received the minutes from the Comox Valley Water Management Advisory Committee. Key discussions included a request by the Comox Valley Community Broadcast Society to enter into a license of use agreement for the installation of a telecommunications antenna on a water reservoir, which the committee consented to support. Additionally, the water supply system consumption report for the period ending January 2026 was received.
