This document, a review of the Nebraska Human Trafficking Task Force (NHTTF), outlines its strategic direction for 2020 and beyond. The overarching mission is to end human trafficking in Nebraska. The meeting focused on the establishment of subcommittees, including Sentencing Reform, Criminal Justice System Resource Allocation and Recidivism Reduction, Public Safety, and Data Collection. Members discussed the merit and distinctiveness of each committee. The Task Force also discussed proposed action items, future meetings, and the statutory requirement of submitting a first annual report to the Legislature.
