The committee discussed upcoming warrant articles for a town meeting and the preparation of a brief, concise summary for the public. A significant portion of the conversation focused on the Old Town House, specifically the lack of market interest, its high potential demolition costs, and the need for the committee to present clear options to the town, such as selling the building, retaining it for civic use, or partnering with another entity. Members deliberated on how to present these choices to the public, the potential for non-binding guidance, and the importance of being transparent about the financial implications of each path forward.
