The commission delayed the approval of minutes from the August 12th, 2024 meeting. Nomination 24-DNR-0005, concerning Leesville Wildlife Area, was approved with ODNR special terms and conditions. Action was delayed on Nominations 24-DNR-0007 & 24-DNR-0008, both related to Salt Fork State Park, to allow for additional review.

The meeting addressed several nominations for oil and gas land management. Nomination 24-DNR-0004 was withdrawn. The commission discussed its authority regarding changes to parcels and lease bonus offers, as well as tolling the primary lease term. Nominations 24-DNR-0002, 24-DOT-0002, 24-DOT-0003, 24-DOT-0004 and 24-DOT-0005 were approved. Nomination 24-DOT-0010 was disapproved due to concerns about the lease bonus. Nomination 24-DOT-0011 was approved with additional provisions. Nomination 24-DNR-0003 was approved with special terms and conditions requested by ODNR.
