BoardFrederick County School Board Instruction Committee Minutes
The Instruction Committee reviewed several key educational initiatives and program updates. The committee discussed Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and partnerships, recommending the addition of Aerospace Technologies I and II courses, as well as the combination of Nurse Aide I and II courses for the 2025-2026 school year. Discussions also covered secondary transition planning for students moving between school levels and a review of the existing Restraint and Seclusion policy. Furthermore, the committee evaluated draft calendars for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years and finalized the selection of student representative nominees.
