Leander Independent School District Board Meeting
The board discussed and considered several agenda items, including the approval of a resolution designating an investment officer, the adoption of a fiscal year 2026 budget amendment, and an amendment to the District of Innovation Plan regarding certification requirements for Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers. Additionally, the Board Policy Committee provided an update and recommended revisions to Policy CV(LOCAL) regarding construction contracts. The board also approved a recommendation from the Bond Oversight Committee to reallocate 2017 bond funds, authorized the early release of critical positions for the 2026-2027 school year including legal support, and reviewed and adopted updated budget assumptions for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
