The 2045 Mobility Plan for the City of Cape Coral is a comprehensive framework designed to transform the city's transportation system over the next 20 years. It aims to transition from a vehicle-centric approach to one focused on safely and efficiently moving people through multimodal choices. The plan is structured around three distinct components: the Roads & Intersections Plan, Multimodal Plan, and Transit & Waterways Plan, supported by various Mobility Programs. Key objectives include meeting the needs of projected population and employment growth, improving accessibility to key destinations, enhancing safety for all modes of travel, and fostering economic development by encouraging alternative transportation.

The meeting included an overview of the role and responsibilities of the Youth Council. Topics discussed featured an update on City Council matters, particularly the ongoing search for a location for the rowing club and an explanation of the city budget process. Presentations were also provided on the Sunshine Law and Public Records Law regarding transparency and compliance, as well as an introduction to the application of Robert's Rules of Order for conducting meetings. Additionally, the committee introduced measures to incentivize accurate documentation, such as implementing an administrative fee for resubmissions, and established a dashboard for staff to access real-time data to standardize the review process and reduce processing time.
