Council Of The City Of Pointe-Claire Regular Meeting
The council discussed and resolved numerous items, including the adoption of an amended traffic by-law, the provision of financial support to various non-profit organizations and the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, and support for a renovation project at John Abbott College. Council members authorized the lending of equipment for community events, appointed an Acting Mayor, and approved participation in various regional golf tournaments. Furthermore, contracts were awarded for a dedicated storage network, mechanical parts for the vehicle fleet, and maintenance of parks and green spaces. Financial agreements with EXO regarding the extension of prescription periods were addressed, and several minor exemption requests and architectural integration plans for various properties were approved. Additionally, the council approved a municipal action plan for persons with disabilities and a public art project for Edgewater Park.
