Upshur County Commission Regular Meeting
The Commission approved several grant submissions for the West Virginia Department of Transportation and finalized projects related to the James W. Curry Campground Dump Station, including a change order and certificate of completion. The FY2027 budget for the James W. Curry Library and Park was approved, along with a trust fund distribution for park improvements. Personnel matters were addressed, including staff employment extensions at the Buckhannon-Upshur Recreational Park, the resignation of a community corrections case aide, and the appointment of a representative to the Farmland Protection Board.
