The agenda focuses on planning for History Day 2026, organizing activities for the 250th Anniversary, and receiving updates on the local cemetery, oral history initiatives, the historic train depot, and the communications subcommittee. Additionally, the commission will hear departmental reports from the Design Review Commission liaison, the City Historian, the Assistant Director, the Alderman liaison, and the Chairman.

The meeting included special recognitions for National Safe Boating Week and Public Works Week. The Beer Board conducted public hearings for on-premise beer permits. The consent agenda covered several agreements and contracts, including a community enhancement grant, a road resurfacing project, asphalt paving, solid waste disposal, a grant for the Germantown Charity Horse Show, stormwater services, water system modeling, and various software purchases. The regular agenda items focused on solid waste collection and disposal services, as well as several ordinances regarding year-end budget adjustments, the adoption of the FY2027 budget, and real and personal property taxes.
