Wood County Educational Service Center Governing Board Regular Governing Board Meeting Minutes
The board approved a wide range of financial and operational items, including the cash reconciliation report, financial reports, payment of bills, investment ledger transactions, and FY27 grant allocations. Personnel actions were extensive, covering the approval of job descriptions, employee handbooks, supplemental contract increases, and various classified and certified personnel appointments, resignations, and contract management hiring. Several service and partnership agreements were authorized, including those with Red Rover, Huntington Payment Processing, the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, local school districts, JRC, and the Wood County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board. Additionally, the board approved an increase in FBI background check costs, an increase to the IRS mileage rate, the adoption of a 403(b) retirement plan, the appointment of a delegate for the OSBA business meeting, and revised financial forecasts.
