Stroudsburg Borough Council Meeting Minutes
The Council denied a request from Shanti House, LLC for a project deadline extension and approved the release of a paving bond for Little Bethel AME Church. A resolution was adopted to increase the shopping cart return fee to $30 per cart. The Council approved a meditation event in Bryant Park and tabled a reimbursement request for vehicle damage allegedly caused by the municipal parking garage. An upcoming public hearing regarding zoning ordinance amendments for tobacco retail use was scheduled, and the Special Event Application for the 2026 Monroe County Veterans Day Parade was approved. Additionally, the Council received various committee and departmental reports regarding parking garage rehabilitation, infrastructure projects, grant status, and community concert planning.
