The board conducted its re-organization meeting, which included administering oaths of office to new members and the election of a Chairman and Vice Chairman for the year. Appointments were formalized for key professional roles, including the Secretary, Attorney, Planner, various engineers, and the court stenographer. Additionally, the board approved resolutions regarding the official meeting schedule and designated official newspapers for the year.

This document provides the 2022 reexamination of the Township of East Hanover's Master Plan and Development Regulations. It evaluates past problems and objectives related to land development, addresses changes in state, county, and municipal policies, and proposes new goals, objectives, and specific changes for future land use and development regulations. Key recommendations include updating land use regulations, planning for circulation and open space, and integrating new technologies and public electric vehicle infrastructure.

The Board addressed multiple land use applications, granting approvals for a minor subdivision with variances for Richard Esposito and a variance request for a home addition by Shannon and Annette Sommerville. Additionally, an application by Linda Di Grazio for a home addition was approved with specific conditions. The Board carried several other items to a future meeting, including a warehouse site plan for 11 Mt. Pleasant JV LLC, a variance application for a new single-family home by Danielle and Edward Dyjeczynski, and a site plan application for a hotel by Brandt Hospitality. Extensive discussions took place regarding the Brandt Hospitality project, focusing on emergency fire access, drainage design, impervious coverage calculations, and site lighting.
