The plan outlines nearly 300 strategic actions aimed at enhancing environmental stewardship, improving quality of life, and securing a sustainable future for all Carrollton residents and businesses through collaboration and engagement.
The committee considered applications for Single-Family Rehabilitation Grants, including proposals for properties on Clubview Drive and Big Bend Drive. They also reviewed applications for Single-Family Demolition/Rebuild Grants, including a proposal for Walnut St which was postponed to the next meeting due to insufficient documentation. The committee was supportive of the grant amount for North Denton Drive. Other business included discussions regarding progress reports on previously considered cases, prohibitions in residential front-yards, and ensuring discussions regarding front yard prohibitions are addressed by the Re-Development Committee.
The meeting agenda includes reports from Carrollton Regional Medical Center, Avison Young on financials and leasing, the Finance Committee, and RBC Wealth Management. The CEO will present MHA financial statements and a COO report. The Strategic Planning Committee will also report. The board will deliberate on a long-term lease, financing, compliance related to the lease, and other real property dispositions in executive session. A resolution authorizing Metrocrest Hospital Authority Revenue Bonds, Series 2022 will be considered.
