Town Of Chatham Select Board Select Board Meeting
The meeting included discussions on several topics, such as public announcements regarding tax bill distribution and agenda item requests. The Board conducted three public hearings. The first hearing involved a consideration regarding Bell Road, resulting in a motion to close the hearing without action. The second hearing concerned an amendment to the permitted hours on the entertainment license for 'This Is My Jam LLC' (Hey Joe and Jam), where the owner requested flexibility in scheduling entertainment hours, noting that the request was driven by community focus rather than a desire to extend operation late into the night. Board members discussed concerns regarding parking impacts and requested further exploration of parking agreements with neighboring businesses.

Town of Chatham Zoning Board of Appeals Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting
The board addressed two open meeting law complaints. The first complaint alleged a failure to conduct a roll call vote and unauthorized deliberation during a recess, which the board decided to address through future training. The second complaint concerned the inability of the public to comment on additional information provided during a prior meeting; the board determined the complaint was outside the scope of open meeting law and delegated the response to town counsel. Discussions were held regarding the process of public participation and the need for potential revisions to meeting minutes for previous dates.
