BoardRenton Technical College Board of Trustees Study Session And Regular Meeting
The Board of Trustees held a meeting that included a study session covering Certificates of Participation (COPs) and the new State Board for Community and Technical Colleges allocation model. In the regular session, the board discussed communications from student leadership and the Renton Federation of Teachers, received a financial and budget report showing a projected fiscal year surplus, and reviewed reports on marketing, enrollment, diversity and inclusion, and the Foundation. Additionally, the board acted on items including the FY27 budget, the Quid Pro Quo agreement with the RTC Foundation, a Prof Tech contract, an RFT High Demand MOU, the FY27 student leadership budget, and tenure advancement.
