Status: OPEN FOR BIDS The City of Kewanee is accepting sealed bids to furnish and deliver three new 4x4 gasoline crew cab trucks for the Public Works Department, fully upfitted and ready for service. Bids may be submitted on either line item or both, and the City may award by line item. Bid Documents Bidders must acknowledge all addenda on the Bid Form. Invitation to Bid (posted October 20, 2026). Includes specifications, Bid Form and Compliance Checklist. Plan Holder Registration Register as a plan holder to receive addenda for this bid by email. Registration is not required to bid, but addenda are emailed only to registered plan holders. Key Dates Posted: Tuesday, October 20, 2026 Questions due: Thursday, October 29, 2026, 4:00 PM Addenda: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 Bid opening: Thursday, November 12, 2026, 2:00 PM, Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 401 East Third Street Award (anticipated): City Council, Monday, November 23, 2026 What Is Being Bid Line Item A: two (2) 4x4 one-ton crew cab pickups, single rear wheel, with liftgate (at least 1,300 lb). Line Item B: one (1) 4x4 Class 4 or 5 dual rear wheel crew cab and chassis with a full service body (at least 9 ft), ladder and pipe rack, and liftgate (at least 1,600 lb). All trucks: white, receiver hitch with 7-pin and 4-pin connectors, trailer brake controller, headache rack, amber LED warning lights, upfitter switch panel. Submitting a Bid Sealed bids to the Office of the City Clerk, Kewanee City Hall, 401 East Third Street, Kewanee, Illinois 61443. Mark the envelope SEALED BID, PUBLIC WORKS TRUCKS.
