The meeting highlighted the challenges of 2021, including the impact of COVID-19 on supply chains and rising electricity prices. Despite these challenges, the cooperative focused on maintaining financial stability and keeping rates low. Key accomplishments included upgrading computer hardware and software systems, launching a new online account access portal and app, and upgrading distribution lines and electrical substations to improve system reliability and capacity. The cooperative also emphasized its commitment to community support through the Operation Roundup program and employee volunteer efforts. Additionally, the cooperative received top ratings in a JD Power survey, reflecting excellent customer service. An election was held for trustee districts 1, 8, and 9, with incumbents re-elected.

The meeting included reports on the election of Trustees for Districts 3, 5, and 7, and the approval of the Restated Articles of Incorporation, as well as the by-law amendment to Article 4, Section 1. There was a review of the Cooperative's achievements, including the implementation of a new Usage Alerts application for monitoring energy usage, and the announcement of a $12 million capital credit refund. Also discussed was the upgrade of a distribution line in the Salt Springs District, the replacement of underwater cables serving Drayton and Hog Islands, and the benefits of the advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).
