The Student Achievement Plan for Bruce-Grey CDSB for the 2024-2025 academic year focuses on three main topics: achievement of learning outcomes in core academic skills, preparation of students for future success, and student engagement and well-being. The plan aims to improve students' literacy and math learning, enhance graduation rates, and prepare students for future endeavors through academic and job skills. Additionally, it seeks to improve student participation, attendance, and overall well-being, including mental health awareness, through specific goals and measurable outcomes.

The Board meeting focused on trustee determination and distribution for the 2026 elections, designating lead municipalities for upcoming school board elections. Key agenda items included the approval of the 2026-2027 school year calendar, which adjusted the March break to align with provincial standards. Additionally, the meeting featured student highlights from local high schools and an update on four policies currently undergoing public consultation, covering concussions, perquisites, budget planning, and electronic monitoring.

The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board's 2025-2026 Equity Action Plan is a formal declaration of its commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and equitable learning and working environments. Grounded in Catholic faith and aligned with its Strategic Plan, Board Student Achievement Plan, and Pastoral Plan, the plan addresses systemic barriers and promotes human rights through four priority areas: School & Classroom Practices; Leadership, Governance & Human Resources Practices; Organizational Culture Change; and Data Collection, Integration & Reporting. It aims to cultivate joyful, equitable, and Christ-centered learning environments where every individual is empowered to reach their full potential, emphasizing continuous reflection, action, and data-driven decision-making.

The committee held a presentation by the host school regarding their programs. Discussion topics included support for school board trustees, the replacement of trustees with provincially appointed supervisors, and the creation of a letter regarding these changes. The committee also discussed the board's decision to eliminate certain coaching positions and replace them with program implementation coaches. Furthermore, reports were provided by member associations regarding support for youth in care and transition planning, and the committee reviewed the Terms of Reference.

The board meeting covered several key items, including the presentation of the Director's Report which highlighted pastoral plan implementation, evidence-based practices in cognitive science, trauma-responsive mental health supports, and updates on capital planning including a new high school in Owen Sound and additional capital priority projects. The board also accepted the 2026-2027 school year calendar, received student trustee reports, and approved the 2-250 Police Protocol policy.
