New York City School Construction Authority Meeting Minutes
The Board meeting included updates on the Capital Plan and the implementation of approximately twenty new school buildings. The President discussed transitioning the SCA Mentor Program to an in-house model to better support contractors and generate savings. The Board approved several personal services contracts for consulting firms specializing in safety training, acoustical analysis, capital improvement projects, and capacity projects. Additionally, an enhancement to decision summaries regarding MWBE participation was introduced. The Board also authorized an organizational realignment to separate the Human Resources and Legal functions to improve operational efficiency and accountability.
